Inspired by Treasure Island, one of the greatest adventure stories ever told by Robert Louis Stevenson, this thrilling saga, unfolds in a world you've never seen. The journey revolves around 15 year old Jim Hawkins, voiced by Joseph Gordon Levitt, who upon finding a map, sets sail with a crew on an intergalactic expedition. Combining 3-D generated backgrounds and hand drawn characters, producer/directors Ron Clements and John Musker, who brought us "The Little Mermaid," "Aladdin" and "Hercules" have created an extraordinary animated epic. Voice talent includes: Brian Murray, Emma Thompson, David Hyde Pierce and Martin Short with original songs by John Rzeznik - lead Vocalist of Goo Goo Dolls.
