The countdown is underway for Hollywood's biggest night, the 80th Annual Academy Awards. Jon Stewart will host the live telecast, viewed by hundreds of millions around the world, marking his second stint as Oscar host. Stewart has been host and executive producer of Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, winner of four consecutive Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series, since 1999. The Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements will be presented on Sunday, February 24, 2008, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 PM Pacific Time.
